Made this video in hopes to help someone who has this noise coming form their engine in which has roller lifters, these came from a GM LS series Gen 3 LQ4 6.... I never thought that SSD would make such a huge difference in speed and fan noise. I cannot think of using HDD now, not even for servers and hosting. These changes drastically improved my laptop performance, speed and fan noise. I was about to drop the idea of buying a new (expensive) laptop.

We’ve heard of some instances of LT1 valvetrain noise caused by roller lifters pitting and developing flat spots on some of these engines. The underlying cause is usually too infrequent oil changes or an oil contamination problem. The engine was freshened up with a set of new pushrods, a new COMP 234/236 112 LSA camshaft, a Melling oil pump, new COMP Cams lifters, new gaskets, and 30thou was shaved off the stock LS1 heads. The motor was also treated to a trick new Holley mid-rise intake and an Accufab 1250cfm four-barrel throttlebody.
