Apr 06, 2020 · Plus the 2.4 patch was only a small part of TBC. Also I read somewhere in this post that ret/enhancement shaman was viable-- the reality is it was not. I remember the only double DPS spec being anywhere near viable was Mage/Rogue. We were discussing Rsham/Ret. Which while not the best comp, is the probably the best comp that Ret can play.

Warriors were strong in 2's and 3's, There was a bit more variety in 3's but in general for 2's, youre looking at warrior, warlock or resto. And their counters tbh.

This cooldown was strictly a counter for a melee zerg team. Shamans will now have an easier time with every type of comp out there and probably be the best all around healer to have. Melee zerg comps was the last piece of weakness that Shamans had problems with in Arena. As frustrating as it is to play against melee teams as a Shaman.
